Cara is a professional in emotional regulation coaching, communication skills, conflict management, and mediation. Her passion for improving individual’s life experience spans 25 years of practice and teaching. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in neuropsychology from Metropolitan University of Denver and her Master of Arts degree from Regis University, Denver in Communication and Conflict Management.

The teaching of Co-Parenting classes span 8 years, in the Greater Denver area and for the County of Boulder. She specializes in communication skills, de-escalation with compassion and focus on the needs of the children involved.

Cara has worked in the field of inter and intra-personal conflict for over 20 years, specializing in emotional regulation coaching, mediation and training for adolescents, families and government agencies.. She is also passionately connected and working with local CASA organizations (Court Appointed Special Advocates for abused and neglected children). As an instructor, Cara has taught courses which include: Utilizing Motivational Interviewing in Conflict, The Neuropsychology of Suicidality, Overcoming Implicit Bias in Conflict and Mediation, Emotional Regulation and Flexibility, Coaching Utilizing Post Traumatic Strength Focus, among many more. These courses have been taught to both private and government agencies.
